“You’re going to be a Doctor” -Doris “Denise” Jackson

Mother, Friend, Queen…

As a mother, she was the most inspiring person I’ve ever met in my life. From birth she made sure we knew we could overcome any obstacles. Before her departure she left behind two daughters and one son. She also left behind a loving mother, Pauline, three brothers and one sister. She was a true Queen in the way she carried herself by transforming from a girl to a mother of three children. She had a vision, one that was short lived. Thru the Doris Denise Jackson Foundation Inc. in collaboration with the Doris Denise Jackson DReamergency Walk, the DDJ Scholars, her children, grandchildren, siblings, friends, family in Columbus, GA, Tallahassee, Fl, Detroit, MI, and other parts of the world, her memory lives on. This is a reminder to never stop fighting for your DReams and always inspire your kids. – Dr. Shon

Our Foundation…

The Doris Denise Jackson Foundation was established in 2019, founded by Shonteral L. Redmond, DDS. Our organization aims to fund scholarship awards for students who undergo hardships in life. We focus primarily on students with disadvantaged or underserved backgrounds. Doris Denise Jackson believed that education is the key to success. We hope to continue her legacy for decades and generations to come. In the future, through donations from our village, we plan to continue increasing the award amounts and number of awards available. Every dollar donated goes towards a student leader and scholar. Thank you for donating and supporting the DDJ Foundation.
